GREENFIELD – Police are investigating an alleged armed robbery that took place in the area around the Wendy’s on Federal Street after a man claimed he was robbed of $1,000, according to Officer Marcus Johansson.
At approximately 4 p.m. Friday, officer Brent Griffin responded to the 138 Federal St. restaurant where he interviewed the victim. After Griffin and the victim moved to a secondary location, Johansson arrived on the scene.
“Allegedly, someone was robbed at knife point somewhere outside this business,” Johansson said.
