Bulletin Board: Sam DeJesus, Patrick Varner sink aces at CCG

Sam DeJesus sank an ace at Country Club of Greenfield on Friday, doing so on Hole No. 5. 

DeJesus used a pitching wedge to sink the hole-in-one from 130 yards out. Colin Cloutier, Zach Avery, Tyler Boissenault and Josh Cady were witnesses. 

It wasn’t the only hole-in-one at CCG on Friday, however. 

Patrick Varner made an ace on No. 2, using a 7 iron to make the shot from 132 yards out. Jack Varner, Teresa Varner and Terry Boyce were witnesses. 

Greenfield Elks League

Paul Viens won closest to the pin on Hole No. 2 (6 feet, 10 inches) on Wednesday in the Greenfield Elks League at CCG. 

Keith Schempp won closest to the pin on No. 5 (12-6).
