Bulletin Board: United Church of Bernardston holds 19th annual golf tournament

The 19th United Church of Bernardston Golf Tournament took place over the weekend at Northfield Golf Club, with the team of Braeden Talbot, Jeff Jackman, Paul Bernard and Bobby Betsold winning a match of cards over Henry Argueto, Paolo Matti, AJ Crowder and Miguel Foutera to take first with a score of 58. 

Casey Bergeron, Kyle Hastings, Nate Burgess and Mike Frydryk took third (60). Bob Toombs won closest to the line, Betsold won closest to the pin while Louis Argueta and Cyndy Channing were the longest drive winners. 

CCG women’s league

Terry Boyce (46) and Teresa Varner (60) shot the low gross scores in a Best 14 Holes contest in the 18 Hole Women’s League at Country Club of Greenfield Tuesday. 

Nancy Robie (-8), Sue Welenc (-4) and Ann McHugh (-4) shot the low net. In Flight Two, Sue Sigda (70) and Dianne Wood (80) had the low gross scores while Irene Woods (-2) and Irene McDonald (-2) had the low net scores.
