Isabelle May and Chrissy Aman crossed the finish line together at a time of 19 minutes, 15 seconds to take first place in the Northfield Summer Road Race Series on Thursday. 

Oliver Bartus took third (19:24), Marc Guillaume came in fourth (19:52) and Marcy Cabanas took fifth (20:03). The race saw 31 runners and 21 walkers participate.

Timmons-Messer

Andy Sena and John Paresky won a match of cards over Sunny Lucas and John Paresky to card the low gross of 36 in the Timmons-Messer League at Northfield Golf Club Wednesday. 

Don LaCoy and Steve Lanou won a match of cards over Ken Duffy and Mike Truckey to card the low net of 25. Matt Deane won closest to the pin on No. 6 (10 feet, one inch) while Elton Kinsman won it on No. 7 (4-11.5). Curt White and Sena were the match medalists (36).

Flyers 10, Havoc 6 — Ava Worden and Ariel Peters each had two hits, Sandra Johnson tallied two doubles and a single, Riley Dyer tripled and Brayleigh Burgh struck out 10 in the Flyers’ win Wednesday. 

Lindsey Taylor homered, Lexi Hawkins had two hits while Isabella Liebenow, Alison Clary and Natalie Johnson hit safely in the loss. 

Magic 14, Defenders 4 — Summer Routhier struck out 13, Kaylin Sevoian knocked three hits, Madeline Finn singled and doubled while Madelyn Barret hit safely in the Magic’s win Wednesday. 

Gianna DiSciullo tallied two singles and a double, Greta Lewis singled and doubled, Lucianne Burnap hit safely while Gabriella Matthews struck out five for the Defenders.
