Bulletin Board: Kerivan, Towne lead Pipione’s to Newt Guilbault championship

Liam Kerivan and Spencer Towne combined for five hits and seven runs, as Pipione’s Sport Shop punched a championship-series ticket behind a 10-0 win over Turners Falls Athletic Club in a Newt Guilbault Community Baseball League playoff game on Tuesday.
The duo combined to strike out 12 and allow just one hit. Ava Barber also went 3-for-3 for Pip’s.
Hunter Kelly had a hit and Rowen Deery had an unassisted double play on the night.
GGSL
Pristine Orientals 5, Franklin First 3 – Hayden Sadler was 3-for-3 with a double, while Lily Sadowsky (two hits, two runs) and Hailey Sadler (double) also powered Pristine to victory on Tuesday.
Franklin First’s Ellie Martin and Grayson Baker each had four hits.
Gilmore & Farrell Insurance 20, Precision Driving School 6 — Kinsley Bergeron, Aurora Reynolds and Shaye Tyler each had hits while Rian Farrell pitched in Gilmore’s win Monday.
Amy Vandoren had two hits and Izzy Bills had a double for Precision.

Northfield Cougars 20, West River 5 — Evy Lewis cracked a double, two singles and drove in five while striking out five in the circle, Ryleigh Goodwin tallied a double, two singles and two RBIs, Lily Bell had an RBI in the Cougars’ win Monday.
Madeline Perkins struck out three and tallied two singles and an RBI at the plate while Gracie Olmstead had a hit and an RBI for West River.

Elaine Goodhind finished with the top point quota of 19 in the Patty Berg Flight in the 9 Hole Women’s League at Country Club of Greenfield Tuesday.
Lisa Sullivan won the Nancy Lopez Flight (26), Charlene Lachance and Sarah Cook tied for first in the Joanna Carner Flight (13), Sandy Ruggeri and Betty Graves tied for first in the Lorena Ochoa Flight (11), Micki Sanderson won the Sorenstom Flight (7) while Patricia Coffin took the Michelle Wie Flight (9).
In an Odd Holes contest at CCG on Tuesday Terry Boyce shot the low gross of 37 while Nancy Donoghue carded the low net of 30 in Flight One.
Irene Woods had the low gross of 49 while Donna Mowry carded the low net of 36 in Flight Two.
DRIVE League
The DRIVE men’s league got its season underway Monday at Greenfield High School, with Crossover Crew beating Brattleboro, 65-59, behind 21 points from Jalen Sanders and 15 points from Lew Borden.
Greg Fitzgerald tallied 23 points while Oakley Meyer scored 19 points for Brattleboro.
In the second game of the night Andrew Ciaglo tallied 29 points and Derrick Hines scored 13 points as 413 Elite beat No Name Hoops, 82-74. Chris Brown scored 28 points and Rob Jones had 22 points in the loss.
To close out the night Rattigan & Sons earned a 60-55 double overtime win over Triple Threat Tribe behind 17 points from Ryan Roberts and 14 points from Walter Perry. George Felogloy scored 17 points and Mike Menard added 12 points in the loss.
Tri-County League
Hilltown Tents 8, St. Joe’s 6 — Sam Schreiber tallied two hits and three RBIs while Tyler McLain, Colin Cloutier and Maleek McMillan each tallied a hit and an RBI in Hilltown’s triumph Monday.
TJ Thibeault, Zak Duval and Owen Phelps pitched in the victory.
GMLB
Denny’s 6, Maniatty’s 4 – Xaviay Reynolds led the way with three hits, Liam Bassett added two hits and Quest Petersen added a key hit to lift Denny’s on Tuesday.
Jackson Baker and Logan Batiste had two hits apiece, while Jackson Puchalski added a hit as well for Maniatty’s.
New Fortune 12, Ruggeri Real Estate 11 — Cam Santerre finished with two hits and drove in the winning run, Darick Chaisson tallied two hits while Rylan McIver and Sean Winslow hit safely in New Fortune’s win Monday.
Jovani Borgos tallied two hits, Brody Suhl singled and doubled while Lucas Gould doubled for Ruggeri.
Bobby C’s 15, Lundgren Honda 11 — Chris Baker tallied three hits while Kyrie Petrizzi-Richmond singled and homered in Bobby C’s triumph Monday.
Damien Shields had four hits while Ben Trombleyand Kent Warner each had two hits for Lundgren.
Greenfield Coed
Common Ground Fitness 17, Liberty Tax Sharks 5 – Nick Aldrich (2B, 3 RBIs) and Brian Ginnity (2B, 3B) had four hits apiece to power Common Ground Fitness on Tuesday.
David Maston (3H, 3 RBIs) and Jake Perkins (3H, 2 2Bs, 2 RBIs) also had big nights for the winners.
The Liberty Tax Sharks received two hits, including a home run, from Che Christi, while Matt Gibson and Mike Cole (two RBIs) had two hits apiece.
