Sean Winslow was 3-for-3 with a double, and New Fortune also received doubles from Darick Chaisson, Cam Santerre and Bryce Urkiel en route to a 13-5 win over Liberty Tax in a Greenfield Minor League Baseball AAA Division playoff game on Tuesday night at Lunt Field. 

Mason Facey and Jason Philstetler each had a base hit to aid New Fortune.

Adrian Lopez and Elijah Lawler both had two hits for Liberty Tax. Solomon O’Neil Evans also had a base hit.

Baker Financial Group 6,  Fitzgerald Real Estate 5 — Zack Bensen knocked three hits while Ona Locke had two hits in Baker’s AA playoff win Monday. 

Jacoby Dyer tallied four hits, Raylan Beckwith had three hits while Jaylen Howell recorded two hits for Fitzgerald.

Triton Automotive 17, Gilmore and Farrell Insurance 8 — Raine Wonsey singled and doubled, Lexi Hawkins doubled and struck out nine while Rihanna Figueroa doubled in Triton’s victory Monday. 

Kaylin Sevoian hit an inside the park home run, Rian Farrell singled and doubled while Sadie Wilcox and Miley Frey hit safely for Gilmore.

In a First 3, Last 3 contest at CCG on Tuesday, Annie Lasek won the Patty Berg Flight (27) while Lisa Sullivan took the Nancy Lopez Flight (29). 

Sara Cook and Lauren Coburn tied for first in the JoAnne Carner Flight (33), Dawn Bete and Emily Jarvis tied for first in the Lorena Ochoa Flight (34), Dianne Wood and Sally Bernard tied for first in the Annika Sorenstam Flight (38) while Karen Sanders won the Michelle Wie Flight (37). 

In a Best-14 holes competition at the 18-hole CCG women’s league on Tuesday, Robin Hartnett fired the low gross while Teresa Varner was second in Flight One action. In Flight Two, Sue Sigda led the way with Irene McDonald in second.

Loet net players in Flight One were Susan O’Connor and Nancy Robie, while Anne Corrinet and Lane Kelly tied for low net in Flight Two.
