Tuesday, Aug. 1

10:53 a.m. — Michael E. Plasski, 32, of Fall River, was arrested in the area of Green Fields Market on Main Street on charges of shoplifting by asportation and being a fugitive from justice on a court warrant.

4:56 p.m. — Past incident of breaking and entering reported on Conway Street.

5:44 p.m. — Disturbance investigated in the area of CVS Pharmacy on Federal Street.

Wednesday, Aug. 2

7:09 p.m. — Report of assault and battery investigated in the area of Main and Miles streets.

10:12 p.m. — Julie A. Engstrom, 40, of Oak Hill Acres in Greenfield, was arrested on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order.

10:51 p.m. — Disturbance reported on Main Street. Individual taken to the hospital.

Thursday, Aug. 3

12:12 a.m. — Attempted breaking and entering reported at the Winslow building on Wells Street.

4:28 p.m. — Caitlyn Marie Shepherd, 33, of Forest Avenue in Greenfield, was arrested on single counts of Class A drug possession, Class B drug possession and Class E drug possession, as well as an arrest warrant, following a traffic stop on Wells Street.

6:14 p.m. — Joseph Reynolds, 69, of Congress Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon following a reported assault and battery in the area of the Greenfield Common.

Friday, Aug. 4

5:57 p.m. — Report of a stolen/missing license plate investigated at the Hampton Inn and Suites on Shelburne Road.

6:25 p.m. — Disturbance reported at Ryan & Casey Liquors on Main Street.

7:58 p.m. — Shaun Michael Maynard, 45, of Park Street in Greenfield, was arrested on single counts of Class A drug possession and Class B drug possession following a report of suspicious activity in the area of the Mohawk Mall on Main Street.

Saturday, Aug. 5

1:59 p.m. — Past disturbance reported at Dollar General on Colrain Road.

Sunday, Aug. 6

5:34 p.m. — Report of breaking and entering investigated at All Purpose Storage on Wisdom Way.

8:21 p.m. — Kortney L. Thurber, 24, of Smith Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant on Osgood Street.

Monday, Aug. 7

9:31 p.m. — Troy W. Davis, 47, homeless, was arrested on single counts of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assault and battery on a police officer following a disturbance on Wilson Avenue.

Tuesday, Aug. 8

1:43 p.m. — Vandalism reported at Franklin County’s YMCA on Main Street.

2:13 p.m. — Disturbance reported at Oak Courts.

5:08 p.m. — Larceny reported at RegalCare on Laurel Street.

Wednesday, Aug. 9

10:39 a.m. — Vandalism reported at Tito’s Taqueria on Federal Street.

11:16 p.m. — Daniel E.P. Farrington, 47, of Third Street in Turners Falls, was arrested in the area of Hawks & Reed Performing Arts Center on Main Street on charges of assault and battery, assault and battery on a police officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Thursday, Aug. 10

5:11 p.m. — Gates Tuttle, 52, of Wells Street in Greenfield, was arrested on two counts of assault and battery on a police officer, one count of resisting arrest and one count of vandalizing property following a reported disturbance on Wells Street.

6:30 p.m. — Ami Tamburrino, 41, of Indian Orchard, was arrested on charges of trespassing and disorderly conduct on High Street.

8:03 p.m. — Three individuals were arrested at Home Depot on the Mohawk Trail. Manuel Prenza Petit, 35, of Yonkers, New York, faces individual counts of identity fraud, larceny over $1,200, receiving stolen property, conspiracy, uttering a false document and credit card fraud over $1,200. Roman Jose Morales, 48, of Providence, Rhode Island, faces individual counts of identity fraud, larceny over $1,200, buying/selling/receiving a stolen trade secret, conspiracy, uttering a false document, credit card fraud over $1,200, credit identity theft and willfully obstructing an investigation, as well as two counts of forging/misusing an RMV document. Also arrested was Rhony Barias Sanchez, 20, of Providence, Rhode Island, on individual counts of identity fraud, buying/selling/receiving a stolen trade secret, conspiracy, larceny over $1,200, uttering a false document and credit card fraud over $1,200.

7:41 p.m. — Assault and battery reported on Montague City Road.

8:35 p.m. — Security alarm activated on Bank Row.

Saturday, Aug. 12

6:58 p.m. — Disturbance reported at The United Arc Residential House on George Street.

7:30 p.m. — James Douglas Marciano, 34, of Elm Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant and one count of Class A drug possession (subsequent offense) on West Street.

2:00 p.m. — Hypodermic needle found at McDonald’s on the Mohawk Trail.

Tuesday, Aug. 15

12:39 a.m. — Assault and battery reported at Heather Court.

4:00 p.m. — Christian Newland, 20, homeless, was arrested on a warrant on Main Street.
