Greenfield Police: Man stabbed on High Street, suspect in custody

GREENFIELD — Police say a Greenfield man was taken to the hospital with a forearm laceration after being stabbed on High Street shortly before 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

The victim was transported to Baystate Franklin Medical Center and the suspect was arrested, according to Greenfield Police Lt. Todd Dodge.

In addition to Greenfield Police vehicles, those used by State Police and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office were also at the scene on Wednesday, in front of the apartments at 74 High St.
