Why people flee Massachusetts

It is no secret that people are moving out of Massachusetts. Recent articles on Masslive and in the Wall Street Journal articulate the blue state exodus across our country.

Why are reasonable people fleeing this state?

Over regulation for businesses and individuals, rising crime rates, sky high energy costs, public schools and universities that fixate on the latest social trends rather than teaching the 3 Rs, net zero, exceedingly harsh Covid19 rules, “fair share” millionaires tax.

Good riddance you say. Well, “careful what you wish for?”

This negative population decrease will force those remaining citizens to pay higher taxes and fees to make up for the decreased population. Massachusetts (the other left coast, in my opinion) citizens and politicians are getting what they voted for.

As the politicians at the state and local levels try to out liberal each other, this deep blue, one political party state is circling the proverbial drain.
