What is really going on in Leyden. My only source of information is the Greenfield Recorder. It has been reported that a Selectman, police chief, police captain, town clerk and now seven members of the Council on Aging committee all have resigned. Any chance the Recorder could have an investigative reporter dig a little deeper. The last exodus of a seven-member committee all at once leads one to believe where there is smoke something is on fire. What is going on behind closed doors? Who is the puppet master? With no details on the reason for seven members to all resign at the same time leaves readers with no answers, only questions. My guess is we may never know the truth or real story.
