Sherry Cowdrey: Harris unqualified, Trump puts America first

Lately it’s the Republicans who are full of joy. But Democrats, not so much.

I often look at this page to see what liberals are saying about Trump, and it ain’t pretty. Hitler, really? But I get why they’re so steamed. Their candidate is a dud, and the more she speaks, the less people like her. She and Biden have been an unmitigated disaster. Recently, Sunny Hostin of “The View” asked Harris what she would’ve done differently than Biden over the last 3½ years, and after staring into space for a moment, she said, “Not a thing that comes to mind.” Yikes!

Now, Trump speaks his mind, which can get him into trouble, but he doesn’t care, and neither do I. He puts America first, he’s sick of crime and the border crisis, and he connects with ordinary people wherever he goes.

A recent My Turn writer says, “It is beyond my comprehension why any one would vote for Donald Trump” [Recorder, Oct. 25]. Well, it is beyond my comprehension why any one would vote for Kamala Harris. She’s unqualified, unlikable, and oh my gosh, that laugh. It makes me wanna pull my hair out.
