Clayton Sibley: Unwilling and entitled public employees

So this past week, on Nov. 27, the recycling truck refused to pick up my cardboard boxes. I caught them while they were going down the other side of the street and asked why. I was told that because I stacked my cardboard boxes inside of another ”un-broken-down” cardboard box that they would not pick it up.
I had all of my boxes folded neatly inside of another card board box. If I displayed that kind of entitlement in my job I would be fired. A recycling truck employee who refuses to crush one single cardboard box. Enough with your union and regulations, that is not what I pay taxes for. These unskilled labor employees make very good money and benefits for their labor. And they refuse to handle one single box because it is not folded neatly? Pssh! Entitled!
