ERVING — The Selectboard voted on Monday to maintain its existing board organization, meaning that Jacob Smith will continue to serve as chair.
TURNERS FALLS — The 1986 cult classic “Labyrinth” starring David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly will be shown at Peskeompskut Park on Friday, July 19, at 7:45 p.m.
The movie follows main character Sarah, who has to venture into a twisted maze with many trials and tribulations to save her brother from the Goblin King with help from friends she made along the way. The film is family-friendly with fantasy elements.
Food will be available by cash donation to support the Turners Falls Thunder Music Boosters.
The event itself is free and is part of the Summer Movie Series presented by the Montague Parks & Recreation Department with support from RiverCulture and funding from Greenfield Cooperative Bank and the Massachusetts Culture Council.
TURNERS FALLS — The band AfterGlo will perform at the Turners Falls Rod and Gun Club, located at 15 Deep Hole Drive, on Saturday, July 20, at 6 p.m. AfterGlo performs a variety of rock and alternative music covers.
Per the Facebook event posting, food and drinks will be available at a cash bar. The cover charge is $10.
