GREENFIELD — State Police have not yet found the suspect or truck involved in a chase that made its way through Greenfield on Saturday afternoon.
According to State Police Sgt. Gregory Jones, troopers with the Shelburne Falls barracks assisted Greenfield Police with the pursuit of a 2021 Dodge Ram pickup truck at 2:20 p.m. on Main Street.
In an email to the Greenfield Recorder on Monday, Jones said the truck continued onto Interstate 91 southbound and State Police dispatchers advised Greenfield Police end its pursuit once the truck exited the highway onto Route 116 toward Conway.
At this time, Jones wrote, neither the vehicle, registered in Massachusetts with the license plate number 5RGZ17, or the driver has been apprehended.
Local and state law enforcement are still investigating the incident.
