BERNARDSTON — Early in-person voting will be offered at the Bernardston Town Hall, 38 Church St., on the following dates: Saturday, Feb. 24, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Tuesday, Feb. 27, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Wednesday, Feb. 28, from 3 to 6 p.m.; and Thursday, Feb. 29, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The last day to register to vote is Feb. 24 and the last day to request a mail-in ballot is Feb. 27. All ballots must be returned to the Town Hall by 8 p.m. on March 5.
Polls will be open on Election Day, March 5, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Travel Club offered by the Bernardston and Northfield senior centers will enjoy a spa day and lunch at Franklin County Technical School in Turners Falls on Wednesday, March 6, at 9 a.m.
Facials, pedicures, nail painting and haircuts are available for $5. The school’s Apprentice Restaurant opens at 11 a.m. for lunch.
Sign-ups are limited to six people from each town. There will be a waitlist in case one town has spaces open up. The cost for the van is $6 roundtrip. Participants will meet at the Bernardston Senior Center. Alternatively, pickup at home is available.

NORTHFIELD — As part of the Northfield Senior Center’s monthly coffee social on Monday, March 4, Matt Sheridan of Greenfield Savings Bank will present “Planting the Seeds to Better Interest.” The coffee social runs from 10 a.m. to noon, with the bank program starting at 11 a.m.

NORTHFIELD — The Northfield Senior Center’s monthly meal, set for Wednesday, March 13, at 12:30 p.m., will consist of shepherd’s pie, glazed carrots, bread and dessert.
Meals are limited to 25 people, so registrations are required. The cost is $7. To RSVP, call the Senior Center at 413-498-2901, ext. 123, by Wednesday, March 6, at 3 p.m.
NORTHFIELD — Retired art teacher Ginny Rockwood will lead a class on relief printing at the Northfield Senior Center on Tuesday, March 12, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Participants, who are asked to bring a smock or apron, will use cutting tools to prepare blocks for printing either two- or three-color final products. Attendees should also bring some pictures that are around 4 by 6 inches in size if they have some, but Rockwood will have some available.
This class is limited to 10 participants and costs $6. RSVP by contacting the Senior Center at 413-498-2901, ext. 123, by March 7.
NORTHFIELD — The Northfield Senior Center’s Happy Feet walking group has two walks planned in March.
On Monday, March 11, at 10 a.m., walkers will meet at the lower parking area at 354 Old Vernon Road in Northfield. Participants can walk past beaver-made ponds, observe wildlife and participate in bird watching.
On Monday, March 25, at 11:30 a.m., walkers will meet at the Senior Center for a trek along the historic Main Street (provided the sidewalks are clear of snow and ice).
Dogs on leashes are welcome at both walks. In the event of severe weather, the walks will be canceled.
NORTHFIELD — A representative from the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office will lead a game of “Spot the Scam Bingo” at the Northfield Senior Center on Monday, March 18, at 10 a.m.
Participants will be given a bingo card containing different keywords related to a scam presentation by the DA’s office. When participants hear the word or see it on the screen, they’ll place a marker on their card. Prizes will be given to the top three participants who get five chips in a row on their card.
NORTHFIELD — Students from Franklin County Technical School will offer manicures and hand massages at the Northfield Senior Center on Thursday, March 28, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
