BERNARDSTON — Miranda K. Neizer of Bernardston earned an associate’s degree from the Community College of Vermont at the spring commencement ceremony.
NORTHFIELD — The deadline for groups, organizations and businesses to register to walk or drive in, or submit a float to be part of, Northfield’s 350th anniversary parade is June 20. The parade will be held Sept. 30.
Parade organizers Magda Ponce Castro and Kathy Llamas already have commitments from the Springfield Shriners. The parade will also feature dance troupes, singing groups, farm animals, muscle and antique cars, tractors, floats by community organizations and businesses, elected officials and first responders.
Registration forms can be printed at northfield350.org/files/Parade_Printable.pdf. The form can also be completed online.

NORTHFIELD — Cameron’s Winery and The Back Room Brewing Co. at 1046 Millers Falls Road will present “Chicken, Brews, Rock and Wine” on Saturday, June 17, from 1 to 4 p.m.
Chicken dinners by Diemand Farm, which will include a half chicken, potato salad, coleslaw, a roll and dessert, can be preordered at a price of $25 by calling 413-225-3420. Leo Stopp and the Shaders will perform a mix of new and classic rock tunes.

NORTHFIELD — Fiddleheads Gallery at 105 Main St. has announced the winners of its third annual photography contest.
■First place — Amherst resident Sally Dillon with “Visit My Pad?”
■Second place — Northfield resident Barb King with “Amsterdam Canal.”
■Third place — Greenfield resident Christine Daugherty with “Out There.”
■Honorable mentions — Northfield resident Melanie Phillips with “Water Light Show”; Carol Dunn, of Hanover, Connecticut, with “Dance of the Daffodils and Morning Shave”; and Greenfield resident Christine Daugherty with “Earth in Flames.”
The juror for this year’s photography contest was Robert Floyd, a photojournalist, award-winning nature photographer and owner/director of the Robert Floyd Photo Gallery and Learning Center in Southampton.
The photography exhibit will continue to be on display through July 1 during open hours: Thursdays from noon to 5:30 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m.
