BERNARDSTON — The town caucus will be held Monday, March 18, at 7 p.m. at Town Hall, 38 Church St.
The purpose of the caucus is to nominate candidates for the various positions to be filled during the May 6 town election. Anyone who may not be able to attend the caucus and is not nominated at the caucus may request nomination papers from Town Clerk Christina Slocum-Wysk by Thursday, March 21.
Positions are as follows: assessor, one-year unexpired term; assessor, three-year term; Board of Health, three-year term; constable, three-year term; Cushman Library trustees, one-year unexpired term; Cushman Library trustees, four seats with three-year terms; Powers Institute trustees, two-year unexpired term; Powers Institute trustees, four seats with three-year terms; Recreation Commission, two-year unexpired term; Recreation Commission, two seats with three-year terms; and Selectboard, three-year term.
Ragged Blue is performing concerts in Northfield and Greenfield. The schedule is as follows:
■Sunday, March 17, 10:30 a.m. — Celtic service at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Long Avenue in Greenfield.
■Sunday, March 17, 3:30 to 6 p.m. — The Brewery at Four Star Farms, Pine Meadow Road, Northfield.
■Wednesday, March 27, 5:30 to 8 p.m. — Main Street Bar & Grille, Main Street, Greenfield.
