ORANGE — A cookie walk and Christmas fair will be held at the Central Congregational Church of Orange at 93 South Main St. from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14.
There will be a variety of homemade cookies. There will also be themed baskets to bid on, including Kent Songer’s Mainly Macho Merchandise, and a gift card raffle.
A Christmas treasure table will be available to rehome decorations. There will be a sale of ready-to-eat meals, fresh or frozen pans of baked ziti, chicken pot pie and shepherd’s pie. A luncheon will include beef stew, chili and hot dogs.
Vendors who are interested in setting up should contact the church at 978-544-6895.
WENDELL — Clinical and adjustment counselor Jamie Lefebvre will be at the Wendell Free Library at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, for a reading from his book, “Simon, King of the Triangle.”
After seeing how his students remembered and connected with his characters and the themes, Mr. J, as he is known, was motivated to share his tales with the world.
Saturday’s event will be followed by a meet and greet and time for people to buy books and/or have them signed.
