MacDougall’s Fiery Hope chorus, pictured at right, raised $8,000 in a benefit concert for the fund, which honors the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office employee and 21-year-old Leyden resident who was killed when his motorcycle collided with a vehicle in 2016. The fund helps departing inmates obtain a driver’s license, birth certificate or other documents needed to open a bank account, apply for a job or get an apartment. The Fiery Hope chorus also sang to Kathleen Garmalo.
