PHOTOS: Senior Center thanks Franklin Tech students with donation

Franklin County Technical School programming and web development instructors Marcus McLaurin, left, and Cyndi Bussey, right, flank Gill-Montague Senior Center volunteer Colleen Doherty on Thursday as she donates an Oculus 3 viewing device to the school as thanks for the students helping Senior Center members with technical questions about their electronic devices. Franklin Tech students have been going to the center on Tech Tuesdays to help seniors with their cellphones, tablets, laptops and any other technical questions they might have. They have helped more than 70 people retrieve lost photos, revive dead computers and fill out forms online for services. The gift was paid for by the Friends of the Gill-Montague Senior Center.
