Deerfield building permits will soon be available online

DEERFIELD — Beginning April 1, licensed contractors, property owners and business owners will be able to apply for, pay for and receive building permits online.

Once the online system begins, paper applications for all permits issued by the Inspection Department will no longer be accepted. If folks are unable to submit online, they are encouraged to email or call the Inspection Department at 413-665-1400, ext. 108.

Elementary school hosting bottle and can drive

SOUTH DEERFIELD — A can and bottle drive will be held on Saturday, March 30, from 9 a.m. to noon at Deerfield Elementary School. All proceeds will support the sixth grade graduation celebration and class gift.
