Friends of the Field Memorial Library Giving Tree up through Dec. 18

CONWAY — The Friends of the Field Memorial Library’s Giving Tree is now up for residents, as the group seeks to support the Hilltown Churches Food Pantry and families for the fourth year.

The tree, located in the library at 1 Elm St., will be up through Dec. 18, as it collects donations. Specifically, donors are asked to provide books for children ages 2 through 18, gift cards for children, basic toiletries, and food items that could help make holiday sweets, such as flour, sugar, vanilla flavoring, sprinkles and other assorted items.

The Field Memorial Library will be open to accept donations on Mondays from 3 to 6 p.m., Wednesdays from 2 to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The food pantry will distribute most holiday items on Dec. 10.
