It was a weekend to remember in the Tri-County League, as two Northfield youth softball teams matched up for the league title.

In the end, the Northfield Wolves outlast the Northfield Cougars, 10-5, to claim the Tri-County League championship. The finals win capped an undefeated season for the standout Wolves club.

Hinsdale placed third in the league while Vernon also had a strong spring on the diamond.
