BUCKLAND — State Sen. Paul Mark’s staff will hold office hours on Tuesday, July 9 and July 23, from 10 a.m. to noon at Buckland Town Hall, located at 17 State St.
Residents of any of the 57 municipalities in the Berkshire, Hampden, Franklin and Hampshire District are encouraged to share ideas on current or potential state legislation, or to ask for assistance with issues involving any state agency. Appointments are not required.
SHELBURNE FALLS — Retired Greenfield Recorder reporter and editor Richie Davis will be at the Arms Library on Friday, July 12, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. to talk about the third book in his trilogy, “Flights of Fancy, Souls of Grace.” The program will be held under a tent behind the library.
The third book includes more than 20 true stories that Davis discovered during his more than 40 years of reporting and editing. His two earlier collections of Recorder stories were “Inner Landscapes” and “Good Will & Ice Cream.”
